Privacy policy — Gathmo Event Checklist
Chrome extension · Last updated: 29 August 2026
1. What this policy covers
This policy applies to Gathmo Event Checklist, the browser extension published by EasyTrafficBot UG (haftungsbeschränkt), trading as Gathmo, on the Chrome Web Store. It does not cover the gathmo.com platform or the guest capture app, which have their own policy at gathmo.com/privacy.
2. What the extension stores
The extension keeps one checklist in chrome.storage.local on the computer it is installed on: the event name and date you type, the template you pick, the filter you last used, and your tasks — each with its title, category, completed state, and the link of a saved page where there is one. That data stays in your own Chrome profile.
3. What the extension does not do
It sends no data to Gathmo or to anyone else. There are no analytics, no advertising, no tracking pixels, no cookies, no account, no sign-in, and no remotely loaded code — every line the extension runs ships inside the package you installed. It does not read your browsing history and cannot see the pages you have open on other websites.
4. Website access
The extension's website access is restricted in its manifest to gathmo.com and www.gathmo.com. It is used for a single action: when you press Add this Gathmo page as a task, the extension reads the heading (or the title) and the address of the Gathmo page you are on, and saves those as a task in your local checklist. Nothing happens on that page unless you press the button, and no other website is readable to the extension at all.
5. Keeping or deleting your checklist
Use Export checklist in the extension menu to save the whole checklist as a JSON file on your computer. Removing the extension from Chrome removes its stored checklist with it, so export first if you want to keep a copy.
6. Changes to this policy
If a future version of the extension handles data differently, this page and the Chrome Web Store listing are updated before that version is published, and the date at the top changes with it.
7. Contact
