2. Read the payment status

Look for the status badge beside the order or invoice. A completed payment should show a successful or paid state.

3

3. Open invoice rows

If invoice rows are available, use the PDF or hosted invoice link. Stripe invoices may show both a hosted invoice and PDF link.

4

4. Check your email

Receipts are emailed after checkout. Search your inbox for Gathmo, Stripe, Paystack, or the payment reference.

5

5. Use the provider portal where available

For Stripe accounts, Billing can open the Stripe portal after a customer exists. Use it to view or export billing documents where available.

What to do next

  • If the payment succeeded, the event or business plan should activate according to the product flow. If the status stays pending or failed, follow the checkout instructions or contact support.
  • Check the live dashboard or checkout page before making a billing decision, because plan state and tax can depend on account and currency.
  • Keep the receipt, invoice, event name, and account email together if you need support to review a billing issue.
  • Review related plan or invoice articles before changing event materials, because billing decisions can affect limits guests experience later.

Frequently asked questions

Where is my receipt?

Check the email address used for the purchase and the Billing page in the dashboard.

Where is my invoice PDF?

Open Billing and look for an invoice PDF or hosted invoice link. If it is missing, contact support with the order details.

Does a pending payment activate the event?

No. Paid event activation depends on successful payment or approved transfer.

Troubleshooting

Payment succeeded but the event is still draft

Refresh the event dashboard. If the event does not activate, contact support with the event name, payment time, and receipt.

Invoice PDF is missing

The invoice may not be ready yet or may belong to another provider flow. Check email and Billing again before contacting support.

You cannot open the billing portal

The portal may only be available after the first Stripe purchase. Use Billing order history or contact support.

The price or billing state looks different from this article.

Use the live checkout, invoice, or dashboard billing page as the source of truth. Capture the account email, event name, currency, and visible billing state before contacting support.
