What is the best way for multiple people to share photos?
For multiple people sharing photos into one place, the best way is the one with the fewest steps for the least technical person in the group. If the group is small, fixed, and on the same platform, a shared Google Photos album or an iCloud Shared Album is best: everyone adds over time and the album lives for years. If the group is large, mixed, or gathered for one event, a QR-code album is best, because contributors scan and upload from the browser with no app and no account, and the host approves each photo before it appears. A group chat is the worst of the options — photos arrive compressed, out of order, and mixed with the conversation. A group chat is where most groups start, and it is fine for 10 photos among 5 friends. It fails at scale: WhatsApp compresses by default, the photos are interleaved with messages, and there is no album — just a scroll. Anyone who joins the group later sees nothing before they arrived.
