Two things qrFotos does that Gathmo does not. If either matters to you, that is a real reason to pick them.

Two years, for less than our one

Galerie Premium is 59,90 € and keeps the album usable for 24 months. Our Grand is 89 € and keeps it a year. That is twice the time for a third less money, and there is no reading of it that comes out in our favour. If the album is meant to be there for a second anniversary, they sell that and we do not.

A free tier that lasts a season

Their free plan holds 25 photos for three months. Ours holds 20 items for 30 days. If you want to run a small party on the free tier and still have the pictures at the end of the summer, theirs survives and ours has already expired.

Nobody counts the photos

Every paid Gathmo plan takes unlimited photos, videos and voice notes. Nobody has to be told to stop, and nothing is turned away at the end of the night.

qrFotos counts: 25 on the free plan, 1.000 on Lite, 5.000 on Plus. At a wedding with 100 guests, 1.000 is ten photos each — generous until the dance floor, and only Premium at 59,90 € lifts the count entirely.

What the voices become afterwards

On Grand, Gathmo writes the voice messages out as text, so a spoken toast can be read, searched and printed alongside the photos.

qrFotos records audio and video messages but does not offer transcripts, so what was said stays something you have to play back to hear.

What is the difference between Gathmo and qrFotos?

Both are QR photo albums guests open on their own phone, both take unlimited guests, and neither needs an app. Gathmo records voice on every plan including the free one and takes unlimited photos and videos on every paid plan. qrFotos counts photos on its cheaper plans, offers no video below 39,90 €, and starts its audio guestbook there too — but its top plan keeps the album for 24 months, which is longer than anything we sell.

Does qrFotos have an audio guestbook?

Yes, from Galerie Plus at 39,90 €, and it records video messages as well as audio. It is not in the free plan and not in Galerie Lite at 19,90 €. Gathmo records voice messages on every plan, including the free tier, and transcribes them on Grand.

How long does each keep the album?
