PartyCam lets guests scan a QR code and take browser photos without an account or download. The current free plan covers up to 10 guests. Its app adds video, names on photos and an album-ready nudge. Hosts choose a photo allowance per guest and reveal images live or after the party. The album has no automatic expiry until the host removes it.
Gathmo also opens after a QR scan with no guest login or app. Its optional Android app is for organisers; guests can upload photos, videos and voice in the browser. The free event holds 20 mixed items for 30 days. German paid plans are €29 for 90 days, €69 for 183 days and €89 for 365 days, with unlimited guests and uploads on every paid plan.

PartyCam has real advantages for the right event, especially when the camera-game feel matters more than a broad guestbook.
A very small event can cost nothing or almost nothing
PartyCam is free for up to 10 guests and its German App Store lists 15 guests at €1.99. That is cheaper than Gathmo's €29 paid entry when guest count, not upload count, is useful.
The album has no automatic expiry
PartyCam says the album remains until the host removes it, even longer than 1 year. Gathmo ends online access after 30, 90, 183 or 365 days depending on plan.
