Written by Martin Freiwald · Updated Jul 8, 2026Gathmo is priced per event rather than per month, so what you pay for is the celebration you are actually holding. A plan sets how much media the event can hold and how long it stays reachable, and you can move an event to a bigger plan after it has already started collecting.
Everything on the money side lives here: which plan an event is on, where the invoice and the VAT receipt are, what happens when a card is declined, and how a refund works when the wrong plan was bought. If you run events for clients, the prepaid business billing articles are in this section too.
One choice here has consequences the others do not: whether the account is personal or business. It decides what an invoice looks like, whether a VAT ID appears on it, and which billing routes are open to you at all. Changing it later is possible but tidier if it is right from the first purchase, so the article comparing the two is worth reading before you buy rather than after.
